Fall Festival
"My family can't wait for the Fall Festival!!! We love any excuse to come to your lovely farm, but the Fall Festival is something we wait ALL year for!!! There's nothing like spending a cool fall evening picking a pumpkin, eating a delicious burger, and just enjoying the best time of the year that is fall....thanks for opening up your home and your farm for everyone to enjoy... " James Passannanti
Weekends in October (starting 2nd weekend, scroll down for complete calendar)

pumpkin picking

"I would have to say this was the most fun we have had at a farm. We were there Saturday from 4pm - 7:30pm and we loved every minute of it. My son didn't want to leave. The Charlie Brown movie was the perfect ending to our wonderful visit! We just may have to come back before Halloween to enjoy more family fun!" (October, 2011)

(Scroll down for a calendar for the month with hours, dates of our festival. NEW - want to come and buy a pumpkin but NOT go to the festival?  The Farm Store will be open Monday-Thursday 4pm-6pm.  There will be NO admission charge during these hours and NO festival activities - please note, Friday evening is Festival hours NOT Farm Store only. )

(please note - this page is for Fall Festival information when we are open to the public on the weekends in October.  If you are looking for information on Field Trips for your school group - which we do in the mornings Monday - Friday all month - see Field Trip Page)

Agua Linda Farm, one of the top 100 places to visit in the Tucson area (according to Tucson Lifestyle magazine, January 2009!), celebrates the harvest every October with our annual Fall Festival! We want you to feel like part of our family during your visit! Make a trip to the Agua Linda Farm pumpkin patch an annual tradition for your family!

(Festival hours, see below, will start he 2nd weekend.  WE ARE CLOSED THE 1ST WEEKEND IN OCTOBER).

Plan to spend the day here!  Admission in $5 per person (except children 2 and under who will not be charged). Includes:

  • unlimited hayrides

  • unlimited petting zoo visits

  • Bounce house
  • unlimited animal visits to the barn (Oink! Oink!)

  • unlimited access to kid-friendly hay-bale maze

  • unlimited hay-stack climbing

  • NEW!! unlimited trips through our first ever 5 acre family maze (scroll down to learn more about this new attraction!)

  • use of picnic area/tables (outside food not permitted)

  • movie on Friday and Saturday nights (kid friendly animated movie on 14' big screen)

  • FREE SPECIAL EVENTS:

Concert on the Farm featuring Cross Cut Saw, Saturday October 22, 2pm - great fun music!  Be ready to dance!

Sheep Days:  October 15 & 16, see working dogs do their thing with a sheep dog demonstration at 1pm  AND, learn about spinning wool from a local artisan who will be here from 10am-4pm both days.  Also, our 2 sheep who were bottle raised (Flash and Baa-Baa) can be pet in the petting zoo and our resident Australian Sheep dog (Patches - we call him "Pumpkin Patches" in October!) will be wandering around looking for attention.

There are lots of other fun things to do for additional costs including:

- pony rides (kids 100lbs and under) $5

- Pumpkin Picking

- Shop in Farm Store

- Dine at the Garden Grill concession stand

- Sit-down in the Ramada/Cantina (sorry, no alcohol)

- Sweet Treats Candy Shop

- other activities

The kids can get lost in the kid maze, play with animals in the petting zoo or tumble down the hay pyramid as many times as they like (no additional cost) while you enjoy lunch (or dinner, Fri., Sat) and a slice of THE BEST PUMPKIN PIE! - made here! (our family recipe was featured in Better Homes and Gardens Magazine - very popular - we often sell out!)  Shop for local products in our charming Farm Store, including jams and other preserves made here on the farm and by other local folks, handmade soaps made by us as well as our local honey and other local goodies!  Relax in the lush, shady backyard under a canopy of giant trees!  Get the whole gang in on some friendly competition with sack races or horse-shoe pitching (no cost).  Enjoy some "Sweet Treats" served up by the farm family kids (soon to run the whole show...).  Take a hayride (or take ten hayrides!) to the pumpkin patch (no cost) or pick other organic vegetables* in the you-pick gardens (pumpkins and veggies - prices vary).  Kids will love our beautiful, friendly Welsh Ponies at the pony rides run by our own daughter and her aunt ($5/child).*

Also, Movie Nights are story-book perfect! Imagine: After selecting their favorite pumpkin and enjoying all the farm fun - your little ones, munching on a bag of fresh popped pop-corn and sipping on a cup of hot chocolate (purchased from one of our own kids who run the Sweet Treats Candy Shop), pumpkin on their lap, legs dangling from a straw-bale seat watching a 1/2 hour animated movie near the pumpkin patch!  It is our favorite time of the whole festival - families love it!!!  Movie nights are Fridays and Saturdays (starting 2nd weekend of the month) and the movie runs twice, starting when it is dark enough (usually around 6:30pm).  (remember - on Fridays we don't open until 5pm - no early birds - gates will be locked!) Bring a flashlight for night hours to navigate the parking lot and mazes after dark.

NEW THIS YEAR! Our first ever Family MazeWhat's that?  Well... we have planted a five acre pasture with milo seed.  It looks like corn, but only grows about 3-4 feet tall.  Instead of feeling lost under endless corn towering above your head for two hours (UGH!), our Family Friendly maze is tall enough to make it easy to get lost in, while still enjoying the amazing views of the mountains beyond.  The winding trail with many dead-ends and wrong turns takes about 30-40 minutes to navigate.  This is a maze that you can take your kids in!  AND - there is no additional fee to go in!

Pumpkins, farm store items, you-pick veggies, pony rides and some other activities and concessions sold separately. VISA/Mastercard accepted in store and at concession stand, but please try to have exact change at gate, thanks!  *

You-pick veggies sometimes freeze before the end of the month, so are subject to availability.

(Contact us for information on special packages for groups of 20 or more)

There will be 2 showings. You may bring lawn chairs.  Flashlights are recommended for the walk back to your car or to navigate the maze after dark.  Kids are welcome to wear costumes!  There is no additional charge for the movie.  Admission includes unlimited hayrides, petting zoo and kid maze, hay pyramid, sack races.*  Also, for additional cost: pony rides, food, pumpkins and vegetables from our you-pick garden!*

Our harvest is the most bountiful in the fall.  We usually have sunflowers, zinnias, decorative gourds, winter squash, summer squash, onions, lettuce, arugula, cucumbers, okra and, of course, pumpkins.  We also carry other local products in our farm store such as handmade soaps, raw honey and jams.  We take VISA and Mastercard.

Admission to the Festival includes unlimitted hay rides, petting zoo access and getting lost in our kid friendly hay bale maze as many times as you like!
